Conversations escalate quickly
One partner shuts down while the other escalates
Resentment is building
Trust feels damaged
You’re wondering if this relationship can be repaired
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than a decade specializing in high-conflict couples.
I work with couples experiencing:
- Escalating conflict
- Emotional shutdown
- Betrayal
- Separation threats
My approach is steady, structured, and direct. Both partners are supported — and challenged. The goal is lasting change, not temporary fixes.
Many extended health benefit plans cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. We provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We recommend confirming coverage directly with your plan.
It’s common for one partner to feel hesitant. If your partner is unwilling to attend initially, you’re welcome to begin with an individual session. Often, when one partner begins the process, it creates momentum for the other to participate.
The length of therapy depends on your goals and the level of distress in the relationship. Some couples experience meaningful shifts within a few months, while others choose longer-term work to deepen connection and rebuild trust. This is something we’ll clarify during your consultation.
